Our Applications For You

Our XFI platform supports a wide range of applications across in vivo, ex vivo, and in vitro research, as well as assay screening and feasibility studies. We are happy to discuss your specific challenges and design tailored solutions that advance and de-risk your preclinical research.

In vivo small animal application (Status: Offering)

Customized tracking of drugs or labeled cells in living animals, with repeated time-series measurements at safe radiation doses. Already approved in a Crohn’s Disease mouse model.

Ex vivo (in situ) application (Status: Offering)

Step 1 | Initial Meeting

We listen closely to understand your objectives and define the parameters needed for an optimal study proposal.

Step 2 | Feasibility & Design Study

To assess risks and optimize design, we run computer simulations and apply our extensive expertise before measurements start.

Step 3 | First Measurements

Only once feasibility is confirmed do we initiate the first measurements at DESY’s PETRA III synchrotron.

Step 4 | Measurement & Analysis

Based on your chosen applications and focus, we carry out the full measurement process and deliver a comprehensive analysis including high-quality data.
